100 g of acyclovir 5 g
Excipients: propylene glycol, white soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, poloxamer 407, sodium lauryl sulfate, dimethicone, glycerol monostearate, macrogol stearate, purified water.

Antiviral drug for external and topical applications.
Pharmacological effects
Antiviral drug for external and topical applications. Acyclovir is effective against herpes simplex type 1 and 2 virus, varicella zoster, Epstein-Barr virus and cytomegalovirus.
Thymidine kinase virus-infected cells through a series of successive reactions actively converts acyclovir into a mono-, di- and triphosphate of acyclovir. Load in interaction with the viral DNA polymerase and built into the DNA that is synthesized for new viruses. Thus, a „defective“ viral DNA becomes, which leads to the suppression of the replication of new generations of viruses.

Dosage regimen
The drug is recommended to put 5 times (about every 4 h) a thin layer on the affected and adjacent they skin and mucous membranes.
Duration of treatment – not less than 4 days. In the absence of wound treatment, it can be continued for up to 10 days. In case of preservation of symptoms more than 10 days, ask your doctor.
The cream is applied with either a cotton swab or a clean hand to avoid further infection of affected areas.
Side effect
Local reactions: sometimes – temporary redness, itching, peeling, burning or tingling at the site of application of the preparation.
Allergic reactions: rarely – allergic dermatitis (often associated with a reaction to adjuvants); in rare cases – angioedema.
